Colonial Apartments, Desert Springs

The Apartments at Desert Springs are colonial in style, reminiscent of the old local town of Cuevas del Almanzora. Set in courtyards, around swimming pools, gardens and classical Spanish patios, they have a village feel and sense of place. Their location gives them tremendous views to the golf, the sea and surrounding mountain ranges.

 

Colonial Townhouses, Desert Springs

Located within the Las Sierras complex and at La Fuente del Desierto are new two and three-storey townhouses. The design of the properties, located alongside the golf course and around courtyards, is also inspired by the traditional local town architecture, with wooden and iron verandas and balconies.

All of the townhouses come with a paved private patio area and most have private gardens as well. All have roof level sun terraces and access to the communal gardens, pools and parking areas. Floor areas of the townhouses range in size from 90 sq m to 106 sq m.

 

Country Cottages, Desert Springs

Set within a gated community and designed for tranquillity and privacy, each cottage has a large terrace at first floor level, a private garden with a pergola, and a garage or underground parking. Owners also have access to communal gardens and individually designed swimming pools. Floor areas of the cottages range in size from 111 sq m to 135 sq m, excluding patios and terraces.

 

Country Villas, Desert Springs

Spacious three and four bedroom villas are located alongside the fairways of the golf course at Desert Springs. Their design captures the ambience of the old farmhouses (cortijos) of the Almanzora and Spanish Levante region, a rich and evocative style known today as Spanish Colonial.

Features include deep and shady colonnaded verandas with fans, and spacious roof terraces.

Standing in walled gardens of 725 to 775 sq m which open on to the golf course, each air conditioned villa comes with a standard 8m x 4m pool, built-in barbecue, a double garage or underground parking area and a large basement which can be extended to create wine cellars and games rooms.

Floor areas of the villas range in size from 238 sq m to 364 sq m.

 

The Caprichosa, Desert Springs

This unique new ‘celebrity’ home will be the most luxurious yet in Spain’s Desert Springs resort. The traditional exterior design of the property has been inspired by some of the old manorial farmhouses which can still be seen in Almeria.

The main entrance is approached through a large manorial door leading to a shaded Andalucian-style courtyard, enclosed on three sides by a pergola. The entrance itself is located at the foot of a tower containing a sweeping staircase linking the entrance hall, the first floor bedrooms and an open sided torre de la vela (watchtower). Below is an extensive basement and underground double garage.

The property is designed for indoor/outdoor living. The ground floor has a spacious living room, dining room and fully fitted kitchen and breakfast room, each opening onto a covered terrace of over 1,000 sq ft. This has areas for al fresco dining as well as an outdoor lounge complete with a fireplace, bespoke pool and much more.

Construction of the Caprichosa will only begin when a buyer has been found.

They are havens of privacy, sunlight and tranquillity within and on the periphery of the village.

Harbour Lights IV is the current phase of this very successful and attractive development of Courtyard Homes, beside the Esperanza Harbour in Villaricos. It consists of two plazas, the Plaza de Andalucia and the Plaza de la Constitucion.
