EYNSFORD
Eynsford is a picturesque village in the Sevenoaks district of Kent and is located in the historic Darent Valley. It is famous for the ancient ford and hump-backed mediaeval bridge which is still very much in use today, St Martins of Tours the 16th century village church, and Eynsford Castle to the north of the village. Eynsford Castle is one of the earliest Norman stonework defences in the country, and the castle and Roman Villa are within easy walking distance of the village centre as is the Lullingstone Country park which provides stunning views over the valley. The nearby Hop farm attracts visitors from all over the world with its beautiful lavender fields and farm shop selling local produce. Eynsford has a number of cosy pubs, restaurants and a tearoom by the ford. Eynsford also boasts an excellent primary school – The Anthony Roper school – which is a ten-minute walk from October Cottage. Eynsford Station has fast links to Victoria and the City, and the village is convenient for the M25, M20 and Ebbsfleet.
OTFORD
Otford Village is an attractive 16th century village approximately 3.7 miles from Sevenoaks town centre. The village has a variety of small shops, historic houses, several pubs and a restaurant, a 16th century church, a library, the village primary school and nursery, a recreation ground and playground for small children as well as two halls which host events and club meetings. There are two private prep schools in the area: St Michael's school which takes children from age 2 to 13, and Russell House School. At the centre of the village is a very picturesque spring-filled pond which is the location of the smallest listed duck pond in England. The attractive village green is surrounded by historic buildings including Chantry Cottage and St Bartholomew's Church. Otford has a mainline rail service with frequent services to Victoria. Sevenoaks mainline station is approximately 3 miles away and provides frequent services to London Bridge/ Charing Cross.
SHOREHAM
The village of Shoreham sits beside the River Darent as it winds through the North Downs and is situated six miles north of Sevenoaks, in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Reputed to be the most bombed village in Britain, the famous great white cross cut in the chalk hillside is a monument to commemorate the dead of the First World War. The fascinating Shoreham Aircraft Museum holds hundreds of aviation relics and has a charming tea room and tea garden. The village has a primary school, recreation ground, several pubs serving food, an excellent village store and post office. Shoreham Village hosts lots of events throughout the year, including the famed 'Duck' Race, Village Fete, Garden Safari, Midsummer Festival and the Heavy Horse Show. The Mount in Shoreham is a boutique Vineyard producing award winning still and sparkling wines and holds regular wine tasting events. Darenth Valley golf course is located on the edge of the village. KEMSING
Kemsing is an historic Kent village that lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the North Downs. There are a small number of shops in the village as well as a primary school, library and doctor’s surgery. The larger town of Sevenoaks is approximately four miles away and provides train services to London in under 30 minutes as well as a broad range of shops, restaurants and other services. There are good number of highly-rated schools, both state and private, in the Sevenoaks area.
ST. JOHNS HILL
St Johns Hill is situated approximately 0.8 of a mile from Sevenoaks High Street which offers a range of shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants and there are numerous leisure facilities in the local vicinity including, St Julians Country club, Sevenoaks Tennis and Hockey clubs, golf at Wildernesse and Knole, cricket at The Vine and Sevenoaks Rugby Club. There is a selection of good schools in the area including Sevenoaks Primary School, Walthamstow Hall, Trinity Free School, Weald of Kent Grammar, Knole Academy, and the internationally renowned Sevenoaks School. Bat and Ball and Sevenoaks stations provides mainline links to London Bridge (27 minutes), London Charing Cross (36 minutes) and London Canon Street (35 minutes). The M25 (Jct 5) is circa 1.6 miles away, providing links to London and the national motorway network.
SEVENOAKS
The town is named after seven oak trees that were planted in Knole Park on the edge of town in the Middle Ages. Much later, in 1909, seven oak trees were planted to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII on the northern edge of The Vine, a landmark cricket ground in the centre of town, one of the oldest in the country. Six of these mighty oaks were lost in the great storm of 1987.
One of Britain's most impressive stately homes is in the heart of Sevenoaks: the vast, enchanting National Trust property of Knole. Dating from the 1450s and famously sporting 365 rooms, 52 staircases and seven courtyards, here you'll wander through exquisite galleries, past shimmering silver, atmospheric portraits and fine fabrics. Then head through the sunlit orangery and into a 1000-acre park dotted with gnarled trees and herds of deer.
DUNTON GREEN
Dunton Green offers good local facilities, a primary school and train station with fast services to London Cannon Street, Waterloo East, London Bridge or Charing Cross. Sevenoaks is close by and offers a comprehensive range of educational, recreational and shopping facilities together with a mainline station serving Cannon Street/Charing Cross in approximately 30-35 minutes.

PLAXTOL
Plaxtol is a sought after and picturesque village offering an active and traditional village community with a range of amenities including a general store, post office, public house and primary school. Situated between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge in an area of outstanding natural beauty, very much part of the Garden of England. With the river Bourne running through it and with wonderful view.There are rail stations at Borough Green and Sevenoaks, Borough Green serves London Victoria in about 50 minutes, whilst Sevenoaks mainline station serves Charring Cross, via London Bridge and Waterloo East, and Cannon Street with journey time of around 35 minutes. UNDERRIVER
Underriver is a quiet hamlet near Hildenborough in the heart of rural kent. is a small quiet village about 3 miles (5 km) south-east of Sevenoaks, Kent. It is in the civil parish of Seal. Until the early 20th century, Underriver had its own school, forge, post office, pub and church. Today only the pub (The White Rock Inn) and the church (St Margaret's) remain. The other buildings have since been converted into housing. Sevenoaks is close by and offers a comprehensive range of educational, recreational and shopping facilities together with a mainline station serving Cannon Street/Charing Cross in approximately 30-35 minutes.
